Another ant from Costa Rica: Maybe Procryptocerus?
Can someone confirm that?

Sure! By the sculpture of the chitin and the pattern of the setae I say Procryptocerus paleatus Emery, 1896. Ward et al., 2014 synonymized the tribe Cephalotini with the tribe Attini thanks to their molecular analyses of the taxa in Myrmicinae. So the tribe Cephalotini is no longer valid and Procryptocerus is in tribe Attini now. |

Chiedo scusa per l'insistenza, ma come avevo specificato nel primo messaggio la tribù Cephalotini non è più un taxon valido. Quindi nel titolo sarebbe meglio correggere in Attini. |
