For me Siagona sp, but i have ho idea about which specie..  probably Siagona longula Reiche 1855 or Siagona europaea Dejean 1826 (the second probably the best choice)

hi jan Siagona longula (anyway different) within the range of fauna eur only occurs in cyprus therefore Siagona europaea Dejean, 1826 |

In general, the ones I use to meet are not so dark brown  On what does it depend? (Photo taken the 5-1-2011, Tolfa, Roma, Lazio)  luigi

there are some color forms (blackish brown, reddish, blackish with a large, ill-defined mid-elytral reddish spot), locally more or less dominant |
