to locate exactly your indications... "Agarac" (a datum i'm unable to locate) is maybe to be read as "Aragac" :? ?

così a naso direi Carabus (Lamprostus) calleyi ssp.pseudoprasinus Lapouge, 1912 (i cui sinonimi più probabili mi sembrerebbero nigropolitulus Mandl,, 1970 o araxenus Jablokov-Khnzorjan, 1976).
aspettiamo conferme.

This photo shows a typical L. calleyi n. araxenus (Khnzoryan, 1976).

This taxon is not a subspecies. This is an interesting morph presented in the highlands Eastern Armenia (on Aragats mountain range to Vayk mountains, Tsakhkunyats monutayns and Geghama mts.), at an altitude of 2000-3000 meters.Typical L. calleyi pseudoprasinus in Armenia is found only in the north-west (Shirak region, Amasia district).

In the forest zone of the north-east Armenia, on the east coast of treachery Lake Sevan to the North-Karabakh lives L. calleyi nigropolitullus.

At the moment, this subspecies has a fragmented area and along the eastern shore of Lake Sevan, it is found only in relict woodlands.

In the south of Armenia, fragmented lives L. calleyi renardi.

Type described from Akhaltsikhe (South Georgia), but found the same in the south Caucasus (Ordubad) and Armenia (Shikahokh, Kapan, Goris suburbs, Vorotan river canyon).
Especially for you, Identification keys (simplified) to L. calleyi from territory of Armenia (by Yablokov-Khnzoryan, 1976).

1(6).... Elytra almost smooth.
2(4).... Body small (16-26mm). Abdominal striae more or less, sometimes completely reduced. Penis shorter and more curved. Top with a metallic sheen, bronze-green or blue-purple tint, (individuals, not longer than 22mm sometimes emit a special kind n. manderstjernae Motsch..)-ssp. pseudoprasinus.
3 (2)....Upper body-color black, without a trace of metallic luster, elytra sometimes brownish (not fully colored individuals) -n. araxenus .
4 (2).... The body is larger (26-34mm), the Armenian individuals without metallic sheen. Abdominal striae clear, at least in the mid sternites. The penis is long and straight. ..... his is a separate subspecies, common in the forests of the north-east of Armenia and reaches up to the northern part of Nagorno-Karabakh.ssp. nigropolitullus.
5 (2) ....Body long (not less than 30 mm), black, shiny, chunky ......ssp. renardi
6 (1)...The elytra pointed, their periods of more or less clear. .... ssp. nigrinus.


I should note that the taxonomy of the genus Carabus changing pretty quickly.
Many experts instead of studying the material simply lump together all known taxa of one kind or vice-versa, fragmenting them to the incredible number of taxa.
It is not competent.
