Hy Maurizio, S. truncatellus has black appendages and body more to a black or blackish colour. I will try to make a better picture of the elytra tomorrow but I don't want to damage it more because I have a single individual. Thank you. |

hi bogdan your specimen is clearly teneral and therefore not fully pigmented, otherwise the belly should be blackish, irrespective of the concerned species (here, abdomen is not obviously darker than legs) anyway, S. obscuroguttatus has more parallel-sided, less rounded elytra, with more obvious shoulders, and not uniformly coloured, with faint, ill-limited paler humeral and apical spots |

gabrif ha scritto: Might be S. pallipes ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() now, a comparison with collection material of both truncatellus and pallipes is needed |

Maurizio Thank you for all the information and help. After another look I agree with you and Gabrif for the S. pallipes. You mention a comparation I have a S. truncatellus and I had compared with it that's why I am sure it's not truncatellus. Also thank to you too Gabrif. All the best |
