Probably the species is correct, but the region where it has been collected should be Shaanxi, not Shanxi (the Qinling Shan is, in fact, in Shaanxi). As to the subspecies, it should be either C. yokoae marcilhaci Deuve, 1992 or C. yokoae qinlingmontanus Imura, 1998. Both are mentioned for the Qinling Shan and I have no idea of how they should be distinguished. Saluti

Hi, according to me it is C. (Sinoleptocarabus) yokoae qinlingmontanus Imura, 1998. But the collecting locality of your specimens is too generic.... Best, Ivan |
