Being rare enough, I suppose because they lived among bigger and more voracious Calomera littoralis on the same bank. 10mm length. Only 3 specimens collected.

hi adrian trisignata indeed lives together with littoralis, yet in my experience, while littoralis can be found all over the beach, even in dry sand, trisignata is usually restricted to wet sand just along the shoreline, or in depressions among the dunes moreover, because of smaller size, it is less conspicuous and more difficult to notice among the not very dissimilar Diptera Ephydriidae often abundant in such conditions |
