Dear Stepan
Cortodera and Dorcadion are the most difficult genera in Cerambycidae fro the West Paleartic.
Anyway the specimens depicted are Cortodera cirsii Holzschuh, 1975. It is described from Nurdagi Geç. Did you collect them?

we met together with my 2 friends a G. Sama in Camliyayla (Namrun) in May this year, do you remember? :cap:
Yes, this two specimens I found myself in Nurdagi Gecidi several days before we met.

I well remember our meeting in Namrun. Did you found Trichofeus preissi on Ficus?
Cortodera is a very complex genus but very interesting. We are working on Turkish fauna of Cortodera.
I hope to meet you again next year somewhere in Turkey in 2012.

I believe (and hope), some Trichoferus preissi will apear in my plastic buckets next summer (still small larvae) :D . I reared one Clytus gulekanus after our return.
Next Cortoderas from Turkey are waiting for release tommorow. You´ll see :gh:
