Sorry Jan, a probable misunderstanding: perhaps your "Greece (continental)" means Grece, except Crete.

Hallo Gianfranco,
sorry for these mistakes, I just copied these information from website of Martin Rejzek and Michal Hoskovec and also of Mikhail Danilevskij - but did not check it with recent literature.. So, I am very sorry, I thought these are reliable records and that was apparently a mistake.

About Stenopterus atricornis - of course I ment whole Greece including Peloponnese (and except Crete) . I did not realize, that some collectors exclude Peloponnese from "continental" Greece, but I still consider Peloponnes as a peninsula, therefor part of continental Europe..

In "Studi sugli Stenopterini.... (Sama, 1995:406):
Materiale esaminato e distribuzione (fig.49) - S.atricornis presenta ...
... Libano: Liban central (MNHN). (...).

But in CPC 2010 S.atricornis is distributed only in Greece and Turkey.

Hi Jacek, you are right, in that time I regarded the occurrence of S. atricornis in Lebanon as correct, but now this locality seems rather due to mislabelling or, at least, to be confirmed.

Thank You for yours quick reply. I am full of admiration yours revision and a detailed analysis of genus Stenopterus. After full study this papers I am started "understand" Stenopterus-species.
