Pseudosphegesthes samai Danilevsky, 2000
Turchia sett. Ordu: Akkus, Niksar, s. Camici, e.l. Quercus, leg. J. Procházka
Specie endemica della Turchia centro settentrionale dove è stata scoperta dagli entomologi svedesi Stig Lundberg e Roger Pettersson, ai quali devo la dedica. Si sviluppa su rametti morti di Quercus.

Ringrazio ancora l'amico Jindřich Procházka (che qualcuno conosce anche per la qualità dei cartellini porta insetti che vende a Entomodena) per l'autorizzazione a riprodurre sul nostro Forum le foto di sua proprietà.

Beacuse in this paper are described both Asias agababiani sp.n. (present as anoplistes) and Pseudosphegesthes samai n.sp. in CPC6 must be replaced:

p.196

printed:
agababiani Danilevsky, 1999b : 41 (Asias)

must be:
agababiani Danilevsky, 2000 : 41 (Asias)

(or inversely: P.samai move from 2000 to 1999b :-) )

This is a nice
question. I have checked the new Catalogue. In fact Pseudosphegesthes samai has 2000 as date while Asias agababiani has 1999. In the chapter “References” the article is quoted as 2000b.
The reprint indicated as the editorial note: “Received: April 16, 1999; accepted: October 7, 1999”. The magazine “Elytron (Bulletin of the European Association of Coleopterology was (and perhaps is) always delayed. 2000 is the correct date of both taxa.
