Hallo everybody.
This is a specimen of Anaglyptus gibbosus, that we have found in Croatia (Istrian peninsula) in May 2009. It was beaten from blossoming Robinia tree. It is quite rare species there, we managed to find only several specimens, but I have some information, that in Italy (especially on Sicily) it is a quite common species. Is it right? What are your experiences with collecting of this species?
Thanks for answer.

I don't think it's so common, but i know it have been found in all italian areas.
I have found some adults on crataegus, and one specimen reared from a robinia pseudoacacia branch, that was attacked in the hearthwood, like all clitynii.
Probably rearing from attached branch will give more adults than eye-hunting...
