Beautiful beetle and amazing photo! But what is "pepa"??  It means the Czech variant of the name Josef (in Italian Giuseppe). Where is classical Latin?  It's terrible...

Pogonocherus pepa sp.n., nuevo cerambicido betico-magrebi (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Lamiinae). Boletín de la Sociedad Entomológica Aragonesa (S.E.A.), 46: 109-113 "ETIMOLOGÍA. Esta nueva especie se dedica a Pepa, esposa del primero de los autores. Sustantivo en aposición."

Thanks Cosmin for explanation but I don't like this type of names (e.g. Odontotrypes mirek, Anthaxia pinda etc.)...  I prefer classical Latin, very beautiful language.

The apposition exists in classic latin too, for exemple L.Piso consul
