Dear Stepan Cortodera and Dorcadion are the most difficult genera in Cerambycidae fro the West Paleartic. Anyway the specimens depicted are Cortodera cirsii Holzschuh, 1975. It is described from Nurdagi Geç. Did you collect them? Pierpaolo

Hi Stepan I well remember our meeting in Namrun. Did you found Trichofeus preissi on Ficus? Cortodera is a very complex genus but very interesting. We are working on Turkish fauna of Cortodera. I hope to meet you again next year somewhere in Turkey in 2012. Pierpaolo

I believe (and hope), some Trichoferus preissi will apear in my plastic buckets next summer (still small larvae) . I reared one Clytus gulekanus after our return. Next Cortoderas from Turkey are waiting for release tommorow. You´ll see
