Elytra with black pubescence.
Can anyone please help me with correct determination? I know, it´s difficult in this case, but any suggestions are welcome.

Dear Stepan,
in our forum this specie was just posted by Cosmin on specimens collected in Greece, near Turkey. For now I prefer to identify this animal as Cortodera cfr steineri. Cortodera discolor is described from Bulgar dag in central-south Turkey. Differens is nothing because it is only a chromatic form of discolor without any value.
Ciao

Many thanks Pierpaolo!!
I´ve read Özdikmen (2008b): A NEW CORTODERA SPECIES FOR TURKEY, where he describes C. discolor for Bulgary and Turkey and C. differens for Greece and Turkey. He doesn´t agree with C. steineri according Danilevsky, you know...
If only C. steineri and discolor exists, question is, how to differentiate these two species? Propably I´ll wait for your publication about Cortodera´s, which will apear soon, I hope :D
