Non è segnalato per l'Italia, è una specie piuttosto rara presente in europa centrale e settentrionale. Attacca populus ssp. e secondariamente tilia ssp. |

Specimens reared from twigs collected in 17.3.2012 from Populus tremulae (Poland). 2 pair (f+m)  In first 1-5 day of life beetles eat a fresh bark of twigs. 10 days after their birth beetles started to copulation and female lay eggs.
