Dorcadion tauricum, very close to " ssp.pittinoi "( 2010 ) from NE Evros...dorsal view of aedeagus is needed ( it should have shorter paramera, but the variability is so high, I would not consider this character ), but...I can`t really see there too much differences. Then, there is difference in banding. Tauricum tauricum should have them short, but as you can see, your specimens is from far away from loc typ and got them longer. Specimens from Edirne (what is ca 50km from loc.typ of ssp pittinoi ) belongs to tauricum s.str as well as specimens from Haskovo, Kardzali - BG. Personally I don` t believe in this ssp, even I respect Carlo`s and Andrea`s work as the most valuable about Balkan penn. Dorcadions.
