This time, I wanted to show interesting species Cerambycidae, which I got from pine, from the slopes of Mount Etna: Oxypleurus nodieri MULSANT, 1839  Italia, Sicyly, Etna, around Monte Colorandazzo, 06 VI 2010 - imagines (form Pinus sp.): 20-31 VII 2010 - 11 exx. Leg., ex cult., det. A. Woźniak

Around M. Etna oxypleurus is quite common. I took infested wood in 2010 too, and they are still borning at today!!! (but i suspect some larvae are still eating in the wood...)! |

You're right, Marcello. In the vicinity of Mount Etna, I found this species in 3 different locations.  Giovanni, thank you for the location of the supplement. Daniele - it's just Spondylidinae, but really beautiful!
