Hi  , I'm here again with one Phytoecia an interesting kind of Georgia. This time comes from the east of the country. NP Vashlovani. I thought that it was a kind of Musaria faldermanni, but are much darker than the pieces that I've ever seen. It measures 7-14 millimeters. We were catching them on Trinia sp.

Hi Dave, the closest species is Musaria faldermanni for sure. The color is quite variable in faldermanni as well anyway I'm not sure for the identification. The host plant is correct for faldermanni..... Pierpaolo |
