Collected first week of June 2010, Mt Parnassos, they are very small size. Anyone ? Hope so ! :D

Really unusual!! I'd say something related to Dorcadion heldreichi Kraatz, 1873.

my one and only certainty is that your specimen is a ..... Dorcadion :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
If you collected it on Mt. Parnassus (= Parnasus), I know that heldreichi is an high altitude species present there and on Mt. Ghiona.

Beh, I say also that it's a Pedestredorcadion :gh: .

P.s. Zdeno, on mt. Parnassos at the base of bushes of Astragalus sp. there is Herophila fairmairei, and Dorcadion species living in hight biotops you find under stones ;) .

:D Riccardo, I ve got about...faimairei :) ...a lot , under the stones ? Do you mean Carabidae ? Lol, no I m joking, I know Dorcadions sometime hides under the stones, but it is not very often. Usually..I don` t have to explain you their bionomy...I m sure you know it .

To Gianfranco: No, I ve got about 50 of them + some others from the same place....If you want some, I can pack them together with the others....send me pm pls.

:? This is what I know, Dorcadion under stones, but Herophila fairmairei at the base of bushes of Astragalus :)

Hey guys. A couple of days ago Andrea S. confirmed it is Dorcadion (Pedestredorcadion) minutum.
