Exocentrus stierlini GANGLBAUER, 1883 - a legendary and mythical species ...
... and I really like meeting living legends!
This year I bred this interesting beetle from willow twigs (Salix sp.), but I don't know what species - maybe some botanist will explain it to me one day.
E. stierlini develops very much like the other Exocentrus species. Look for him intensively! Perhaps he lives next to you, in an area with a lot of willows.
