Hi all,

Pogonocherus caroli is one of the largest Pogonocherus in Europe.
My largest specimen is 9.5 mm length, meantime:D

I was visit France twice for the past year and I also visited Aiguines – Canyon du Verdon. (last autumn and this spring.) I had information on the occurence Pogonocherus Caroli in this place in Pinus sp. So, I found a few larvae this species. And a few months later, they were the first adults in home conditions. But most of the adults began to appear last 14 days. My opinion is that, Pogonocherus Caroli is activated throughout the year but autumn is the best. :hi:
