 Grazie Lech!!!  Proverò (ora che mi hai dato questo input) con le chiavi a vedere se è proprio questa specie! Aggiungo altre foto (molto scarse come qualità) di particolari dell'edeago (sono delle prove che sto facendo quindi perdonate il risultato scadente....)  Caro Lech, potrebbe essere anche Luperus viridipennis Germar 1824. Che ne dici?  Il primo articolo del tarso anteriore ben dilatato non esclude L.nigripes? Comunque leggo che sono due specie con una variabilità estremamente accentuata.

Andrea, I just studied my specimens of L. viridipennis, especially male genitalia, and I agree with you that it is rather untypical specimen of L. viridipennis. Polish specimens have apex of penis much narrower than Italian population but in profile penis looks identical to that on photo. Also first segment of tarsi in viridipennis is distinctly dilatate wile in nigripes it is very thin. |

Looks like female of Luperus flavipes: http://www.colpolon.biol.uni.wroc.pl/lu ... avipes.htm or Luperus luperus: http://www.colpolon.biol.uni.wroc.pl/lu ... uperus.htm Specimen on your photo has rather homogenous punctation of elytra and distinctly rounded lateral margin of pronotum. It suggests Luperus luperus but females of both species are very difficult to identify, even in hand. |
