I found today this caterpillar on the ground. Please tell me what it is and which type of plant prefer to eat... :D

It's a second or third instar caterpillar of Fox Moth, Macrothylacia rubi (Linnaeus, 1758); these are the plants that you can find as food plants for this species on my web site, but the list would have to be much longer: Gramineae, Betula, Salix, Populus, Vicia, Rubus, Trifolium, Vaccinium, Geranium...

Thank you ! :lov2: ....I found often in the spring caterpillars of M. rubi, but I never saw a young one, because of this I wasn't able to this one :)
