That is a Dytiscidae, gen. Agabus. It reminds me of A. conspersus or A. nebulosus, but I have no knowledge of Turkish fauna so cannot go further that that. In what kind of habitat was it found? |

In what kind of habitat was it found? Hi Alessandro, I found it in a garden, a small irrigation arc but there is no water, a lot of dry leaves and dry tree branches. I found it under these leaves. |

I see, Ozgur. That might seem strange, because this is a water beetle, but given that they can fly, moving from one pond to another, finding it in a garden is possible, especially in spring. |
