Thorectes brullei (Jekel, 1865), very common in Peloponnesus. As far I know, it is the only Thorectes species recorded from Greece. In the Balcanic peninsula three species are known: T. brullei, T. intermedius and T. punctulatus, plus one in Turkey: T. asperifrons. Ciao Zdeno!

Thanks Stefano !

Hmmm...I have some from around Lamia too. I think I will have to open Baraud...

Stefano, what about Lesbos and Rhodes ? I have collected some Thorectes in there if I remember right.

P.S. Got some stuff for you again, just to find some time to make it up for you...PM

Always T. brullei, with some unclear subspecies: according the literature, ssp. anatolicus (Jekel, 1865) from Rhodes Island. No records from Lesbos, but I think that the late Baraud would have inserted specimens from that Island in ssp. anatolicus as well.

Hmmm, I would think, that these Islands will be closer to Turkish fauna or with more endemism.

Thanks, Stefano !!!
