The following Cyclommatus has been caught in Sabah, Bornéo (two individuals with the same characteristics, apparently belonging to the same species)). The problem is that it has a full pack of teeth (or a multi-divided tooth) at the base of the mandibles, and I don't find this characteritics in the list of Cyclommatus living in Borneo. Then I am at a loss, if the species can be identified, I would sleep better ! Thank you in advance to the specialist who will solve this mystery.

This specimen is a little male. The "pack of teeth" at the base of the mandibles is just a characteristic that leads me to think so. That is probably why you could not find the species. Following this paper, it should be Cyclommatus giraffa Möllenkamp, 1904 - Lucanidae
