Hi, received some exemplars (leg. Alexandru Pintilioaie) from a friend. collected in a hilly area (46.428056/26.440833 / 460 m / 2.july.2010) in east part of Romania and I don't succed to put a name for this species. in photo a male (also his genitalia (dorsal/lateral view) and anterior angle) and 2 females. is possible to go for a name? thanks for help, cosmln |

I hope to not get wrong. I also have a lot of Anisoplia and I cannot do a good identification. A key of the species would be welcome. |

I was thinking the same but after checking with Baraud (claw/genitalia/what is writen), I will go for A.dispar but... maybe some one from here is more familiar with this species and can add more. cosmln |

Anisoplia aren't that easy and the first step is to find the correct group (if using Baraud's revision).... - furthermore, the drawings on elytra are very variable is some species, from wholy brownish to nearly entirely black with all kinds of black markings on lighter ground... |
