Ciao,

seconda per oggi con qualcosa piu specie (e nuova qui), Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) psychopompus Ziani & Gharakhloo, 2010.
Stefano mi ha fatto un grande regalo, 2 paratypi (maschio e femmina) di questa fantastica specie, :lov2: :lov2: :lov2: Stefano. Dati di raccolta da qui sono per il maschio, per femmina aprile.2009 > Iran: Hamadan: Razan. Entrambi con leg. M.M. Gharakhloo.

But from your photography it seems to be completely black beetles without metallic shine. I'm afraid your photographies don't truly display shine of surface of photographed objects (as it relates to most of your Aphodius species).

True image of the shine of surface of beetles is very important for general impression of habitus of all species. It probably needs more light.
This is an example (comparison of Cosmin's and Aleš Sedláček's photos of Aphodius consputus):
