It can not be Euonthophagus in any case. This is a species of "kinderman" group, probably Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) kindermanni Harold, 1877 known from Greece, Turkey, Romania, Ukraine, Hungary and Macedonia. Other two similar species of this group thre are O.strabo Reitter, 1892 (Syria) and O.rodentium Pittino, 2004 (Greece - West Macedonia). Beautiful and interesting species! |
