Probably Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) fissicornis (Steven, 1809), female. Are there four tubercles, or trace of them, anteriorly on pronotum?

Are you sure Stefano? I don't see tubercules on anterior part of pronotum. It seems to be fracticornis - what do you think?

Yes, you can be right, but this specimen was collected in the same place and the same day of this one, O. fissicornis:

Furthermore it has the posterior carina of the head very long, almost reaching lateral margins, a character of O. fissicornis.
That's why I asked to Ozgur if he can see trace of four tubercles on the pronotum.
Of course, the specimen could well be O. fracticornis.

So probably Aphodius was right, and the specimen is Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) fracticornis (Preyssler, 1790).
