Without having some already identified females to compare this specimen with it's very difficult, at least for me, to get to a reasonable identification. However I'm pretty sure this is not C. dux, nor a strictly allied species. In C. dux elytrae are "chagrinées" and therefore look duller unlike, as it seems to me, in your specimen. Also the pronotal carina and the general appearance are slightly different. |
