Hi all :hi: ,

I have this specimen collected 2 year ago in a forest, near Iasi county. It is Corticeus pini ? :)
lenght : 6 mm

Corticeus unicolor. C. pini is stouter with distinctly shorter pronotum:

Thank you....I have one question, why in Fauna Europaea the Corticeus is named Hypophloeus :? ...and this species seems to be not recorded from Romania :roll:

Corticeus Piller & Mitterpacher, 1783 = Hypophlaeus Fabricius, 1790

In Cat. Pal. Col. (2008, vol. 5, Apollo Books) Corticeus unicolor is recorded just so from Romania.
