TITOLO ORIGINALE: Purtroppo un Dendarus non un Elateridae vista la località Vista la località fosse stato un Elateridae per Giuseppe sarebbe stato perfetto! Il Dendarus dovrebbe essere un Dendarus angulitibia Koch 1948 o il Dendarus messenius (Brullé, 1832) il primo endemico di Tinos. Temo che da questa pessima foto sia difficile...

Purtroppo è femmina, il maschio dovrebbe avere le tibie anteriori modificate e i tarsi fortemente dilatati.Mi raccomando...  CiaoPiero |

Hello Gianpaolo, Interesting insect and smart humor !!! once you are in Tinos, maybe worth searching in the sand on SW beaches (eg Romanos or Kionia),in a very small depth, between the plants: There is another interesting species of Tenebrionidae, it is quite frequent and is the right time for this: Micrositus orbicularis Mulsant & Rey 1854

 Però a questo punto qualche elateride me lo devi trovare e qualcosa dovrà pur esserci!

Non ci crederai, ma proprio oggi, nei dintorni della stessa località, ho trovato un piccolo elateride sotto una pietra quindi ti spetta di diritto! Gli elateradi scarseggiano, mi pare di averne trovato solamente un altro a Andros, che mi pare della stessa specie. Una volta a casa, aperti i vari flaconi, provvederò alla spedizione

| Anche se fosse un comune Drasterius va sempre bene ma in Grecia e soprattutto nelle isole non si sa mai!
