 and last one for tonight... in the morning a long road to home. another meloid, again I will say that is from Genus Mylabris... maybe same species with the one posted here. collected in Peloponnese (37.774736/22.391951) in 24.may.2010. grazie, cosmln |

Hi Cosmin, actually this is Mylabris (Mylabris) quadripunctata a common species distributed from Portugal to China. I am working on the revision of the nominate subgenus with both molecular and morphological characters. We discovered 5 new species and several complex situations, so I think we will need some months to compete this revision. Ciao, Marco |
