Dear Friends,

I invite you to visit web site of the project carried out by prof Lech Borowiec from Wroclaw University (Poland).

In Poland we have more than 6000 species of beetles and main aim of the project is show all of them on high quality pictures.

Now ca 5000 species have been published but web site is upgraded a few times in the year.

It is a gigantic work of one man. Create a single photograph is often several hours of work...

Bel lavoro ma...... una domanda l'Onthophagus gibbulus riportato non è O.gibbulus rostrifer?? ma c'è in Polonia?? pensavo ci fosse solo in Anatolia!!! o sbaglio mando foto Ciao Gildo

Ciao Jan grazie della precisazione E:=Europa ma AB AR GG sono Azerbaijan Armenia e Georgia quindi avevo visto bene,quella foto che ho preso dal catalogo è quindi Onthophagus (Paleonthophagus )gibbulus rostrifer e non c'è in Polonia.Grazie Jan io ho in collezione solo una femmina di O.rostrifer che viene dalla Turchia.Ciao Gildo

You could check distribution of Onthophagus (Palaeonthophagus) gibbulus gibbulus (Pallas, 1781) here

Known from PL only from single localities, most very old.
