i think of Otio. ghilianii. Have you this Otio in your collection. In Italia this Otio. is dangerous for the Olive's tree, adorned it ?

Purtroppo Patrick, non sono in grado di aiutarti. Ho provato a controllare in collezione se avevo una bestia simile, ma niente da fare!  Non ho idea di cosa possa essere. Sicuramente Talamelli o qualche altro Curculio-Big, nella propria collezione avrà questa specie.....e vedrai che ti sapranno dare presto una risposta.

Avevo escluso questa specie perche le carene laterali del rostro dovrebbero essere subparallele nella metà posteriore. Puoi dirmi se il pronoto è granuloso, punteggiato o granuloso-punteggiato e se le strie elitrali sono visibili ? Giuseppe |

Anche le carene laterali del pronoto appaiono più parallele. Ora i caratteri sono compatibili con la tua iniziale determinazione. Giuseppe |

Thank you Joseph for your explaination, what disturbed me it is streak them obvious. For me they are not also obvious grazie Joseph delle vostre spiegazioni, ciò che mi disturbava questo è le strie alquanto evidenti. Per me non sono tanto evidenti |

By reading carlo’s note "Notes on some species of Otiorhynchus Germar, 1822 sensu strictu, with new synonymies and a neotype designation (Coleoptera: Curculionidae)" of Roberto Casalini, I think we’re dealing with a female of otiorhynchus hungaricus |
