Asproparthenis cf. sculpticollis Zumpt 1938. This species was described from Iraq, but in a broad sense it is relatively widespread from Iran to Egypt. I think that the specimens from Iran may belong to a different, still undescribed, taxon, since pronotum is less deeply scultured, but the genus [i]Asproparthenis[i] is a real nightmare. Massimo |
