very interesting insect. It belongs to genus Eptacus, to my opinion. Probably E. arachnoides Stierlin.

But you mean Eptacus arachniformis (Reitter, 1908) which is the one present in Petra?

I add pictures, 3 of them from another ex taken in the same place.

There are 2 conflicting features in the specimens here, in relation to J. Pelletier's key: Clearly prominent eyes and relatively longitudinal antennal segments 3-6.
You may be right, because of the locality of the capture, being Eptacus arachniformis.
There is also a specimen in the French Forum, which was captured about 20 km north from yours. In this specimen, the name Eptacus arachniformis fits better.
