A new species for Greece.
Only 2 specimens were found, with a distance of about 35 km between them. Both after shaking of herbaceous plants, on the banks of small rivers, at low altitudes.
This species was known until now, only from Bulgaria and the Asian part of Turkey.
Length 4.8 mm.

Hi George, thanks for sharing, I had never seen this genus before!

The original description was made, by considering this species, as a member of the genus Trachyphloeus.
The separation was made only in 2009, by Roman Borovec, who established the genus Zarazagaia with 4 species (distributed in Bosnia, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey).
