Well, indeed it seems exactly T. rungsi. How many specimens are at your hands? Better to send the picture directly to Massimo Meregalli who knows these fascinating weevils very well. Anyway, the finding of a North African species in Sardinia is all but surprising. Enzo |

It looks like Temnorhinus rungsi also to me. It's a very interesting finding, other than a new species for Europe (but --- NEVER add a species to the fauna of a country only based on a photo, excepting when the species is absolutely unique, which is not this case). |

Naturalmente, c'è sempre l'alternativa che si tratti di un esemplare un po' più robusto del variabilissimo e ampiamente distribuito [i][Temnorhinus mixtus/i], che è presente e abbastanza comune in Sardegna in ambienti salmastri. |
