Hello Tomasz,

it looks very similar to the subgenus Paracryphiphorus (difficult subgenus, about 20 species).
You must check the corbels of the hind tarsi:
-Partially closed.............................................................Paracryphiphorus
-Open........................................................other Otiorhynchus subgenera

Ciao from Athens, :hi: :hi:
George

It seems as difficult, but it is not ...
What we should be checked, is the surface where the posterior tibia ends up, exactly around where the tarsus is grows.
In the remainder Otiorhynchus subgenera, this is a smooth, approximately ellipsoidal, concave surface.
In the subgenus Paracryphiphorus, this area shows at the exterior side, a smooth elongated protrusion, which appears to limit somewhat the freedom of the tarsal movement.
What is more difficult, is the photographing of this structure.
I'm not a good painter, but I made an effort ...

Another good guess is subg. Cryphiphorus.
O.(C.) convexiusculus F. Solari, 1932 ??
O.(C.) subaequivestis F. Solari, 1932 ??

I've never seen these species ..... so, I try to inform me and I will let you know. ;)

Hello!
From the photos it appears that the construction of the legs is shown in Figure 2. (closed)
I hope we can move forward :)

:ok: :ok: :ok: Closed.
Wonderful photo, probably the photo of this construction for the first time in the Internet !!!
So, Paracryphiphorus sp.
The continuity will be much more difficult...

Thank you Leonardo and George! :lov2:
At least the question of the subgenus is explained.
Best wishes! :hi:

but Albanian fauna, at best of my knowledge, is yet not well known, so I presume that some species of Otiorhynchus s.l. are still waiting to be found.
