Molto simile al M. lypriformis, a parte l'edeago, quali possono essere i caratteri che differenziano le due specie????

Thank you Leonardo (and Enzo of course) !!! :lov1:
A new and simple identification key at last, after this (a bit problematic) of Petri -1907.
But where is M. lareynii in this key ?? It is in synonymy to another species ???

Colonnelli,2018 :ok: :ok:

"........Accordingly, it is here pointed out again that M. rhinocylloides Hochhuth, 1847 is the same as M. lareynii Jacquelin du Val, 1853. Since Alonso-Zarazaga et al. (2017) set up the synonymy between M. lareynii and M. diecki, the following new synonymy must also be established: M. rhinocylloides Hochhuth, 1847 [= M. diecki Faust, 1890; n. syn.]."

Therefore....

Microlarinus rhinocylloides Hochhuth, 1847 = M. lareynii Jacquelin du Val, 1853 = M. diecki Faust, 1890.

In my opinion, this is: Microlarinus lypriformis (Wollaston)

Thank you again Leonardo !!!
So, only 2 species in continental Europe, M. lypriformis and M. rhinocylloides.
But here, in my opinion, this is probably the second of them, M. rhinocylloides.
