Unfortunately, I have no sufficient experience with Otiorhynchus from that area. But I would suggest (to start a discussion) the subgenus Eprahenus. Only 1 species of this group is mentioned in Iran (O. incivilis, which probably does not fit).
But in all the surrounding countries, there are many species of the same subgenus (Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, eastern Turkey, Caucasus).
