Hi,
this carabid was collected (leg. Cosmin O. Manci) in Babes Mountains in 8.july.2010 (45.462910N/25.929230E) found running on soil, size=12-13mm.
is possible to put an ID?

Platynus, or something very similar to it. From a picture it looks difficult to go much beyond the genus. If from Italy, it would most likely be P. assimile or P. krinicki, but in Romania??? |

Direi quasi di certo sia Limodromus assimilis (Paykull, 1790), femmina. Dovrebbe essere presente anche in Romania. I would say almost certainly be Limodromus assimilis (Paykull, 1790), female. Should also be present in Romania. |
