Vittorio Monzini identified it on the Facebook group Carabidae as something very close to Piezia sp. Does anyone have a PDF of the publication Basilewsky P., 1981: Revision des genres Piezia Brulle et Trichopiezia Nègre. Annalen Zoologische Wetenschappen, No. 234: 1-75, illus. I am sending an even more modified picture to better see the structure of the elytra. Could the asymmetrically cross-linked ribs on the elytra just be some kind of monstrosity of this individual?
