A normal H. distinguendus? does it have 2-3 outer intervals of elitra without pubescence, or with?  G.

waiting to know whether or not it has outer intervals of elytra punctulate and thinly pubescent (pubescence may fall in deteriorated specimens, yet punctuation remains visible), the sides of pronotum are not sinuate, so it looks more like H. affinis |

This specimen doesn't have intervals of elitra with pubescence...so is H. affinis ? |

no, in this case it is H. distinguendus... yet pubescence in deteriorated specimens may disappear, so check whether even the 1-2 outmost intervals are actually devoid of fine punctuation |

I check this specimen but I can't see any pubescence or fine punctuation...maybe I can't see this details with my magnifier... |
