Metriaulacus sp., posterior angles of pronotum uni or bicarinate? elitral apices emarginate or rounded? 19 mm it seems a very big size!! my specimens don't exceed 16-17 mm.

Thank you, Anostirus. I re-measured it, and the actual length is 14 mm. The explanation for this error is probably that I misassessed the 5 mm bar, taking it for the 10 mm bar. A classical mistake, that I never committed before to the best of my knowledge, which is nevertheless not excusable, and for which I do sincerely apologize.
To morrow morning I will try my best to take readible pictures of the details you mentioned.

Here are the detail photos, I didn't manage to make them very conclusive.
It seems to me, however, that the extremities of the elytra are slightly indented, which, according to a publication by G. Platia (well known to Anostirus ;) ) would make it the species emarginatus (Anostirus, am I a good student? :) )
I have modified the colors to make things more clear.

The posterior angles of pronotum seems to be unicarinate so it cannot be emarginatus. I think can be M. pseudoveles Platia & Schimmel.
