Very interesting Genus !!!!

if I have applied correctly the key, then this is Mulsanteus kahramanensis Schimmel et all, 2009.

A turkish specimen of the same genus, but another species, is in my collection, derived 250 kilometers more east (region of Yumurtalik, 26/VI/2002).

But, let's wait the opinion of the specialists.

this species is not a Mulsanteus but a male of Melanotus fusciceps (Gyllenhal, 1817).

It seems, you're absolutely right !!
13 mm is rather long for a Mulsanteus, it should to have suspected my mistake ... :oops:
