Hi all
, I found this elytra at the base of a dead Pinus sylvestris, inside the wood. The lenght is 19 mm. It could be ID-ed only after this elytra??

Could be, but 19 mm seems to be excessive! |

I suppose that it could be from Stenagostus rufus. A quite huge fella and occurs in Pine. You can see a previous post about this specieshere

Ok, Stenagostus rufus is a good possibility, it possess more elongate elytra than E. ferrugineus! |
