This is Malthodes (Malthodes) bifurcatus Kiesenwetter, 1852
for quite characteristics s9, a large species endemic to Sicily and Malta.
sorry, but this type of preparation is not good. You have to dissect the entire abdomen, so you have broke the tergites, fundamental in determinations

Last tergite is not broken, but it was separated, I forgot to make a photo... well, next time I will dissect multiple segments of abdomen or entire abdomen to keep the last tergites and sternites together
