Questo non è un Tachinide ma un Sirfide, credo una Volucella pellucens (ma aspettiamo Pietro o qualche altro più esperto di questa famiglia...).

I believe it’s the inflata species, see below the key of Speight & Sarthou from 2005 :
* Scutellum almost entirely black-haired on disc - female eyes bare and frons >4x as long as its width at level of anterior
    ocellus ...................................................................................................................... pellucens (L.)
* Scutellum almost entirely pale haired on disc - female eyes densely hairy and frons <3x as long as its width at level of
    anterior ocellus ........................................................................................................... inflata (Fab.)

The eyes don’t touch, so it is a ♀ !

I'm not so sure that eyes are separate, the image is fuzzy and the head of the pin makes things a little difficult. But just for safety I'll remove the sex symbol too.
